We invite expectant parents to sign up for one of our Saturday morning meet and greet sessions. They are held every Saturday morning at 9:00am. These are small group meetings that give new parents the opportunity to meet one of our providers and ask questions about our practice. We ask that you call the office to register for the meet and greet prior to coming.

If you deliver at Inova Loudoun Hospital, please notify them upon check in that Town Pediatrics will be the baby’s pediatrician. They will forward all newborn medical records to our office. They will also notify our office once the baby has been born. One of our providers will visit and evaluate the baby within 24 hours of delivery and each day after for the duration of your baby’s stay. If you deliver at a hospital other than Inova Loudoun, you will need to bring copies of all newborn medical records and vaccine records from the hospital. One of the hospitalists will provide newborn care for the baby until the baby is discharged to home.
Parents should call to schedule the Newborn Follow Up appointment once the baby has been discharged or when they have been notified of discharge for the baby. Typically we recommend seeing the baby within 2-3 of discharge from the hospital with a healthy delivery. Please follow directions of the treating physician at the hospital when scheduling the first appointment. All registration paperwork can be found on our website and completed prior to your visit. If you prefer to complete the paperwork in the office, kindly arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Please bring a valid insurance card and photo ID to the first visit.
