JOYCE SALIBA M.D.

Dr Saliba was born and raised in Lebanon. She started her college journey majoring in computer engineering. However, one summer, she was volunteering at the Children Cancer Center and came to the realization that she was in the wrong field. She switched gears and applied for medical school at The Lebanese University where she graduated with her medical doctorate degree in 2011. She started her pediatric residency at the Lebanese University while working on an equivalence of her medical degree through the United States Medical Licensing Examination, as she strove for achieving medical excellence.

She moved to the US in 2013 where she started her pediatric residency at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in 2013. After completing her training in 2016, Dr. Saliba worked in a medically underserved area in Surry County, NC. She was responsible for treating patients in a clinic setting as well as hospitalized children and sick newborns. Dr. Saliba feels that her time in North Carolina has equipped her with the experience of caring for children of all ages and across medical acuity. Dr. Saliba is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Saliba is excited to join Town Pediatrics in September 2024. She is fluent in Arabic, French and English. She enjoys traveling, experiencing new food and cultures and spending time with her family. She and her husband have 2 girls and live in Loudoun County.
