Are You Expecting?

Congratulations!

Starting a family or welcoming another child into your family is a wonderful experience and truly a gift. Along with the beauty and joy of pregnancy, delivery, and then coming home, there are bound to be times when you have questions about how to care for your baby and family.

We are here for you and your family.

We are excited and honored that you are considering us for your child’s care. It is always special for us to be invited by new parents to join in the care of a family member. The continuity of care and the amazement of watching a baby grow and develop into a wonderful child is one of the primary reasons that we all feel privileged to work in pediatrics.

Get to Know Your Pediatrician

We host meet and greets with our Board Certified Pediatricians every other Wednesday at noon with Dr. Fatema Buhkari, in our Sterling location. Call us to schedule: 703-777-5222.

Registration

Parents should call to schedule the Newborn Follow Up appointment once the baby has been discharged or when they have been notified of discharge for the baby. Typically we recommend seeing the baby within 2-3 days of discharge from the hospital with a healthy delivery.

Please follow directions of the treating physician at the hospital when scheduling the first appointment. All registration paperwork can be found on our website and completed prior to your visit. If you prefer to complete the paperwork in the office, kindly arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

Please bring a valid insurance card and photo ID to the first visit.

Vitamin K

Please read our policy on the administration on Vitamin K to newborns:
