Nurse Practitioner Meghan Edwards has always loved working with children. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Food, Nutrition and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2003; she worked at a pediatric office as a medical assistant. After several years she returned to school to pursue a career in healthcare and in 2007 graduated from Marymount University with a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). She worked at INOVA Fairfax Hospital as a registered nurse on the pediatric cardiac unit until returning to school again to earn her degree as a nurse practitioner at George Mason and George Washington Universities in 2011. After graduation she worked on the Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery team at Fairfax Hospital for several years until leaving to work in primary care pediatrics. She joined the Town Pediatrics team in 2019.
Meghan resides in Loudoun County with her husband, two children and dog. She is thrilled to join the Town Pediatrics family!
